So there is this chick..?

So there is this chick cute thing has a car, job ect... me,I have the real life of finding a job and don't have a car I'm a normal teenage with normal teenage problems. Maily family,I play varsity football, I plan to join the military to assure my future.. I'm 17 I'm one year over her.. I met her like 3 weeks ago she got my number and we txt on a daily basis..and I like her and all but don't know if she feels tha same..I don't mind us being friends but I do not want it going in that direct,I want us to take things slow...basically I don't want to jump head first into the dark abyss ,so to speak,..so do I tell her I like her?will she see my bacground?(no job ect?)how can I tell if she's interested?
