Why should government workers and retirees have their benefits and pensions rolled back by Gov. Christie in NJ?

Because they are paid for by the taxpayers. Christie was voted in by the taxpayers. In our democratic system, the voters can screw the government workers just as easily as the voters can decide to have the rich people pay for everything.
